Jesus not only took our place on the cross, but He replaced our Place. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says "He made who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become righteousness of God in Him". 

     That means who knew no sin of His own, was made sin for us and we who have no righteousness of our own, are made the righteousness of God in him. Sin of first Adam which work in man was take away by the second Adam and righteousness of Christ given to man. 

     I really tear out to see that Jesus take our worst and give His best.
