Satan is the chief target of believer and from morning to evening we blame Satan for everything. 

     Once I heard that a Pastor was on 21 days fasting. When other Pastor visit and inquire the aim of his fasting. He replied my target is to put Satan in the Hell with this 21 days of Prayer and Fasting.

     Bible says Satan is the Lord of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). You and I can not finish Him because God has already fixed His end (Revelation 20:7-10). That means you had set a wrong target.

     Rather our target must be God. Bible teaches us to grow up unto the measure of the age of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13-15). 

1. So our target must be His Holiness (1 Peter 1:16) - Peter said it is written. The written word is the surest rule of a Christian life. If morning till evening we think and damn Satan, can we be holy; of course not. So our target must be His Holiness to be like Him. 

2. His Nature (Philippians 2:5) - Christian Must have Christ's mind. God create us in His image and likeness, but we short of His Nature (corrupted by Adam's Sin). So our target must be His Nature to be like Him. 

3. His Likeness (Ephesians 4:13-15) - If you really want to grow in Christ you must rooted well in Him. Jesus is the Head of the Church and we must grow up till His head. That is why our target is God alone.
