1 Samuel 15:22 says "Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams". 

     Commands are given us to obey, but I saw people praying for them.
     For example - Bible says don't forsake the assembly (Hebrew 10:25). But people prayed Father God tell me in which Church I go.

      Bible says Go, preach the Gospel and help the ministry (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8). But People prayed Jesus tell me where should I minister and many more like this.

     We all are in the ongoing Ministry of Acts, just take part in it with obedience.
