It's written "be holy, as I am holy" (1 Peter 1:16; Leviticus 20:26). But how we can cleanse us and be holy. Many will say by the Blood of Jesus Christ or by the Holy Spirit. That is true but can we think an easy or practical thing.
When we read 2 Chronicles 29 we see Hezekiah cleanses the Temple of the Lord. He opened the doors and repaired the temple. And in order to cleanse the temple He brought out all the unclean/ impure things from the temple and through them in Brook Kidron (29:16).
In the new testament we are the temple of the God (1 Corinthians 3:16). We need to be cleanse it. First we need to open the doors of our heart to Jesus (Revelation 3:20). And in order to cleans this temple we also need to through impure things out from our body i.e. unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving and unmerciful (Romans 1:29-31).
Because It is written "be holy, as I am holy"! Amen!
